How many month take After pre arrival or eligiblity pass letter.
Because I got pre arrival and eligiblity passed in January 2023
After that no news

Congrats that you got pre arrival.
( mostly your background chk is done..)
Around or less then 6 month as per my experience

Copr - April 18, 2023

Before June 2023 u will receive portal request and eCoPR

Finally got decision made and passport request yesterday. The journey is over now.

Here is my complete timeline

No AOR
Started Processing Dec 9, 2021 and asked for documents for my dependants outside
Pre-Arrival April 10, 2022
Medical Request April 11, 2022
Decision made and copr June 6, 2022
PR card received July 15, 2022

Outside dependants

Application received July 30, 2021
No AOR
Started Processing and asked for documents Dec 9, 2021
Pre-Arrival April 10, 2022
Medical Request April 11, 2022
Medical not received letter June 7, 2022
Medical proof sent June 8, 2022
Decision made and passport request December 12, 2022

Both applications were being processed in Mississauga I pray for everyone still waiting for there applications

After I receive portal invitation can I take photos at home and upload. Or it has to be from Studio.

Strongly suggest to go to the studio. Photos taken from home sometime doesnt meet specification, and it will delay your PR card. Worth spend few bucks

I totally agree, just studio photo.
Cheap pays twice, in our cases, we pay with our own time

Hi, can anyone tell me how long it takes after the pre-arrival letter and medical exam passed to get PR inside of canada as Refugee? Timeline
Pre arrival letter received on April 8th 2022, medical requested on April 9th 2022, medical passed on 15th April 2022.

Depand on case to case
I have Pre-arrivel and eligibility passed letter 5 month in January
After that nothing

I call them , they said all the assessments like background/ security are completed, just officer still working on your file,
Did not make decisions yet ? Why they took so long ?
