I m waiting for 23 month. Local MP called to IRCC and informed me that all process completed and waiting for-final approval and invitation of PR portal and come get email for invitation anytime . However,I am waiting last 3 months and no news still. All depends on your luck.

I have applied same however no response since 3 months. Lost all hope.

It all depends. I got mine in less than 3 weeks but I have also seen people that got theirs in 3 months.

My processing center is Etobicoke and i heard the production department have backlog of printing of PR cards

Hi everyone!
My PR application is in processing. After the last additional document submission, me and my In-Canada dependent have had some update in our status. My employment status has changed. I quit from previous company and am working in another one. Also my dependent has extended his study permit. Should we notify IRCC in each update ( using web form) or just when they ask for? and in case that the answer is YES, should we fill a new Schedule A or just writing on a paper and signing is enough? There is a statement in each letter from IRCC letter:

You must also notify IRCC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
 Change in status in Canada: you must submit a written statement to this office and include
evidence to indicate the status in Canada of all persons listed in your Application for
Permanent Residence;
 Changes in your personal circumstances, including birth or adoption of a child, death of a
family member, a marriage or a divorce;

and also in Web form site it says:

You wish to report important changes, such as a change in contact information, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in employment, withdrawal of application, refund request, or urgent requests.

In case of sending any updates, there will be two major Issues. First: It is possible that they ask us to fill a new form and each update will create 3 or 4 months delay in our application! and the Second Issue: several forms and updates will make everyone confused.

I asked my MP to check why my application is taking longer than I expected, and it came back that IRCC said that my application is (non-routin) I was just wondering if anyone has gotten any feedback like this from IRCC. And what is this (non Routine) all about.

I applied for PR in 2021 and here are my current status as per ATIP Notes:
Medical- Passed
Criminality- passed
Info Sharing - Complete
Security Screening - In progress

LABEL:
Client is ready for landing

Does anyone know what this means? And what is security screening and how long does it take?

Ugh it’s frustrating for sure! I don’t know why they took this long for you. Hopefully, they finish it soon

I honestly thought PR processing will be faster as we already went through the same process when we became refugees, but I guess it’s different department or process:/

Hello Rinadina , I also call ircc today, they said same to me. As they said all the assessments are complete in your application , wait for final decision.
Not sure how long they can take
