Oh waoooo. Am sure you are a Nigerian. Getting a passport now will take a while as their is a huge backlog. The immigration promised minimum wait time of two months and that is if you are lucky. So the best thing now is to alert IRCC and let them know the situation of things about passport issue in your home country. Dont wait till that time to inform them. Inform them now and later remind them before the expiry of your time.

congrats. So you got the pre arrival Services and COPR sametime. YOu have family members inside Canada. or outside Canada. Where you on the PIlot project ? Did they ask anything before. that is great news.

I was a protected person. My family members are in Canada. Aside from submitting the PR application, my kids and I were not asked the do anything extra. Only my husband was asked to provide a valid international passport, FBI report from US and police report from home country.

My gckey account status is changed from submitted to / application profile updated. But I can’t see any updates. Is it something ghost update or system glitch. Anyone else experiencing the same. I am December 2019 applicant . No updates since December 2020. Anyone had same status ever.

You may hear from them soon. I am a December 2019 applicant to. My family and I received our pre- arrival service letter and COPR yesterday( April 16). According to the timeline, they started processing our application on November 27, 2020 even though they received it December 11, 2019. The end is near and all the best

Did you receive the pre-arrival service letter and COPR together? what is the time between them if not together? I got my pre-arrival service letter but no COPR yet?

Did they ask you for fingerprints? I applied January 15th 2020 and I was 2 months ago to get my fingerprints done and I did but hasn't got it from the police. I don't even know if they send it directly to immigration. and I have until 27 of this month to submit it.

No, they already have it in the system from previous applications so they did not ask me to provide it again.

My PR journey had finally completed. Here is my timeline :
- Applied for PR March 2019& got CoPR October 2020 (process took 19 months)
- mailed PR card application to Etobicoke IRCC November 2020 & received PR card April 2021(process took 5 months)

I'm single applicant, no dependants - Ontario
