Can I ask how long after the paperwork was received in Canada did you get a reply? They received our pack last Friday and it's now Tuesday no notification? Many thanks
It takes best part of a month, first thing you'll get is your Acknowledgement of Receipt. My pack, sent from Northern Ireland, arrived in Canada on 9 May and it was 6 June before we got AOR.
Good news! After few months of extra delay, we finally received the PPR yesterday!!
They apparently send us the first request on January 20, 2017, for other docs, that we never received via Email or Mail...
So we received a second request four months later by E-mail on May 2, 2017. A Little bit frustrating but at least we have it!
Thanks again for the work you do to keep this document updated!

Long story. I will try and cut it short. I hadn't heard properly from IRCC on our application after 4 months so put in an enquiry with the Minister of Immigration directly. After 4 weeks he came back that they had been waiting on my wife's birth certificate since March 29. Apparently sent an email which I did not receive.
So for past three weeks wife has been trying to obtain the cert.. But with the already broken systems in her country of birth and Ramadan being on. she made little progress in those three week. She wrote to IRCC herself by email on Friday with alternate ID (non-resident card and old passport). A few hours later a VO from Canada rang and spoke directly to the my wife and after 10 minutes decided to waive the Birth Certificate requirement!
A few moments later I got the application acceptance and request for Schedule A.
