Hey, all im new to this thread, just found it!....I'm a Canadian citizen by birth, my wife is from the UK and we are doing an outland family class sponsorship!

our app was received Aug 27th to the Sydney office in Nova Scotia. no word yet from the office unfortunately.
is there a group chat (whatsapp/facebook) or spread sheet you guys keep track off for individuals in the same situation.

I think it’s a normal situation but Sydney as what I heard is a faster visa office as compared to London !

Note: nothing has changed in GCKey, still BGC did not start and ECAS says In Process not Decision made.

Weird but thought of sharing with ya'll encase if someone thinks steps are updated accordingly.

Hi All,

Although they asked me to send an ORIGINAL police certificate (PCC), in mycic account, I found the "Upload Button" available under "Documents submitted by the client" to upload the PCC they asked for.

Does this mean they are actually asking to just upload the PCC without sending the original by mail?

You need to upload it and submit it online before the 30 days time frame.
I never submitted anything in original except now my passport, any other document requested were submitted online after scanning the original.

That's the whole idea behind the MyCIC account is to be able to submit requested document faster than mailing them so this would speed up process and eliminate the wait period.

Just don't forget once you upload it you have to click on next and electronically sign it otherwise it will say "Updated-not submitted"...good luck

Anyone know how long COPR takes to arrive after submitting passport to London office?
Our application stayed to be processed in Mississauga (received June 1st, 2018) and we got PPR on Sept 5th. We were on holiday in Canada at the time so had to mail the passport copy, photos, and paperwork from there to London VO. We mailed it on September 11th. Stupidly we didn't ask for any sort of tracking, so I can't say for sure when it got delivered (assuming it did...don't want to even think about it being lost in the mail!!!).

Oh and in case people find this info useful - we got PPR email and DM in ECAS before the GCKEY even changed to background check in progress. And never got any pre arrival services email.

I hope the spreadsheet is fairly self explanatory. Just check others timelines, the rows in Green are those that have got all the way to decision made. As regards overall timeline to CoPR, plan on 8 - 11 months from receipt in Sydney to receipt of CoPR (then of course you have to land etc. etc.). So I am afraid you will likely be March / April 2019 yet (it is not impossible it could be quicker, occasionally some are processed in 4 - 6 months - I am just going off historic averages).

Congrats! you are lucky. I have not heard anything back from LVO regarding eligibility or background check. my wife's medical expires end of month.. what a waste...
