In September I sent them our property contract ( we bought a house in Victoria), when getting the request in January I also sent them utility bills and copies of sponsor's drivers licence and BC services card.

why do they ask for proof that sponsor will reside in Canada? and what kind of proof did you send? employer's letter? anything else?

I've only started watching this thread and read a lot of you messages here but still don't have an idea of how long it takes for London Visa Office to process applications. There were people waiting 2 months for their file to be transferred to LVO and after that?
If anyone has a rough statistic, please share as I don't have a clue. Thanks in advance!

We recieved an email on October 16th saying our application would be processed in Mississauga. Yesterday we received an email saying it’s being forwarded to London Visa Office. Is this because they don’t think our relationship is genuine?

PA Aor and sponsor Aor received yesterday (both via email). We got the sponsor Aor first and then the PA (myself) one. We linked via the sponsor email and I thought we had to link via my Aor too - is that incorrect? When I linked the second time it 'moved' over to the second account. I guess the question is do we both link to accounts or is it just managed via one account?

I have never even bothered logging in in ecas or mycic as the sponsor. Only tracking through principal applicant (me) details.

After SA I'm not sure if the stages even show on the sponsor side.

Anyways to answer your question no you don't HAVE to link from both sides.

Almost certainly nothing to do with what they think of your relationship!
