I have 5 months left of my current visa, so heres hoping its not too too long

They're pretty slow, so be prepared and do your research so you have all the facts and information you need. We're on month 6 at LVO and month 9 total...we have a straightforward, simple app.

Received the VISA approval e-mail today (CoPR) Yay!.

App was processed in Mississauga entirely I think. We just have to send the required documents in a few days to London and then the mountain of work starts!

I am sponsoring my wife and she got COPR from LVO yesterday and they are asking for photos for each accompanying member, do I have to bring my photos along with my wife's and son's?

Does anyone know how long it roughly takes from Decision Made to the PR being issued? And what steps come in between? If any.

It took us 1 day for us from DM to PPR. Visa on hand November 16.

Thanks. My aplication status changed to "decision made" a week ago, but I haven't received any other notification/mail yet. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

It depends, days or a couple of weeks at most. If they proceed straight to issue of the CoPR (they did with us), as we lived in the UK and the processing office was London, we got our CoPR in the Royal Mail post 3 days after DM. Can take a week or two though.

Hello there, congrats for dm! I got dm as the same day you got, may i ask have you got your ppr email yet? I just wonder how long it might take to get ppr email after dm, coz i have booked air ticket for christmas, im worried if they cant send my passport back on time before my flight time. Thank you very much!

If you're from a visa exempt country you shouldn't have to send in your passport, just photocopies no?

We haven't gotten PPR yet, we have reps though so it'll go to them
