Congratulations! Nearly nine months from start to this, quite a wait!
What happens next is that you get an original and a copy of the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) form. It is an unimpressive foolscap laser printed sheet of paper with the photo attached. You need to 'land to declare PR' before the expiry date shown. You will of course also need a passport. I would guess as you are in the UK, you will receive the CoPR in a few days or a week at most.
Reading about it here if you have not already found this.

Hi, we haven't received AOR yet but my husband was about to order UK Police Certificate online from ACRO to have it ready for when they request it. As he was about to order it mentioned that if you have a case reference number it will actually send the police certificate directly to the CIC and it could speed up processing times rather than waiting for it in the mail and then uploading online when they request. Should we wait until we receive request from CIC or should we go ahead and order it?

Of course there isn't a 'right or wrong' answer here. Personally, I would order it now, get it mailed to you so it is ready to send on immediately it is requested. Will take about 2 / 3 weeks from ordering to arrive in the post (mine did). Personally, the only people I would trust to forward it on correctly is myself (but that's me!).
No one can say 100% until you actually receive your COPR in the post... but chances are about 99% that you would have been approved! (If they were thinking about rejecting you, you'd have way more evidence of it, like asking for more proof, more forms, more paperwork, an interview, etc.)
Congrats! Let us know when COPR arrives in the post! It'll be a signed-for document, so watch for a delivery attempt receipt.
May I please be added to the spreadsheet. This is mine and my spouses info.
Relationship Status: Common Law
Sponsor: Canadian citizen living in Toronto
PA: Irish Citizen living in Toronto
Application sent: January 4th 2017
Application received in Mississauga: January 4th 2017
Sponsorship Approval: January 26th 2017 - They stated in the email confirming Sponsorship Approval that the application has been forwarded on to London Visa Office. We kind of took that as our AOR2?
Medical Passed: Yes (unsure of the date but was sent upfront)
Police Cert: Sent upfront
It says under Permanent Residence status on my partner's acc that "we started processing PA's application on Feb 3rd 2017".However, I've not received anything since the sponsorship approval email and confirmation of subsequent linking of account to my email.
I have to apply for another visitor visa as my current one runs out at the end of this month. More red tape to worry about. From what I can see on here, it doesn't look like I can expect to hear anything until August/September?
Can't wait to wake up in the morning and not have it on my mind.
Yeah, September-ish is probably a realistic expectation, but generally just watch the timelines of applicants around you. The average in London right now is about 8 months, but that's just an average... some will be faster, some will be slower.
