THe field is Decision Made *or* passport request. Some people get a PPR (or copies of passport) and some just see DM on MyCIC/ECAS. In either case, the decision has been made (passports aren't requested unless it's a positive decision) so that date is what we track - the ultimate decision date.
No, not everyone has a passport request - we didn't. I think it is normally to do with whether the PA's passport is from a visa exempt country or not. We got 'Decision made' then a few days later the precious paper CoPR arrived

People who require visas for Canada definitely have their passports requested; SOME visa-exempt applicants are asked for a copy of either just the bio page, or in some cases the full passport. My husband was asked to send in a photocopy of his entire passport, all pages including the blank ones. No idea why, our case was straight-forward... A pretty even split of people over the past few years have had requests for either the wholet hing, just the bio page, or none at all. No idea the rhyme or reason, but at least they're happy with just copies which makes life easier!
Hi, we submitted our Spousal application and it was signed for in Mississauga on Mar7. Husband just received an email asking us to link application to his online account. I initially tried to link it to mine through my Canadian bank account log-in, but it couldn't find the application. We then tried creating an account with GC Key for husband and then tried to link it, but they still couldn't find the application. UCI and Application # are correct, as are all details. Anyone else had this issue? Is it just us being too quick and the details not entered in the system yet? We were trying within 30 minutes of receiving email. Any guidance or reassurance would be helpful!

Were you trying it on the same day you received the email? Anyone else have any luck and can share the magic trick? I've put in an inquiry on the website to see if they'll help, but I'm not optimistic about getting a response quickly.
Ok, got some advice from another topic. Apparently there is a weird glitch happening. I had success by hitting the space bar instead of entering city of birth and leaving that blank. I also entered 2 family members instead of 1 despite it being just my husband on the application. Weirdly, it worked.
It says my application has been received and is being processed. Can I update my timeline on the spreadsheet to show my AOR being today? Is that accurate?

Happy news from here, too, from a while ago! I got my COPR Dec 30, it's hard to believe the hard part is over. Good luck everyone applying and still waiting! And thank you for all the help and support!
