kelKel, just out of curiosity, does your eCas still say 'In Process'? The system is so utterly unreliable. :

Does anyone know if I can book a trip after I land but before I receive the PR card? Some people say we can just travel with the COPR proof. He is visa exempt. Thinking Jamaica in 2 weeks.

Yes, he would be allowed re-entry without the PR card because he's visa exempt. He must identify himself upon re-entry as a PR of Canada. Travel with the COPR.

I emailed Buffalo on February 22, 2011 got the standard reply:

"This will acknowledge receipt of your email to the Buffalo visa office.
For more information about CIC, please visit CIC site at
