Well, contacting my MP was a gigantic waste of time, I'm afraid.
Their response to my informative inquiry was:
Have you checked your application status online? It is currently taking a minimum of 11 months froms application date for processing, which would mean February 2011.

Where are they getting 11 months?? I thought we were talking 6-ish months on average for Buffalo, including 30 days at Mississauga, if it's a "simple" case, everything right, fees already paid, etc...
so far it's been a useless thing... my MP receive no news and neither immigration Quebec............ i am discouraged.. there is nothing else i can do except wait and try not to slip in a depression. I know i might make some people to envy me but anyway but next week i am going to see my wife for a whole week. A quiet vacation on my expenses but i truly need to be away from my sucky job and all that immigration stress
I GOT A PASSPORT REQUEST TODAY!!!
MY HUBBY GOT ACCEPTED AS PERMANANT RESIDENT AFTER ONLY
2 months and 2 weeks process!!!! (including 1 month to get CSQ)
Im so happy!!
Good luck to everyone and dont give up!!!
sigh man seems i am going to go on a rant... but i need to vent... i met my wife through an online game 3 years ago while none of us was looking for love, she got a recurrence of cancer 2 years ago, got surgery, chemo, radio therapy, we got married last year 1st anniversary is this coming sunday
FBI tortured us with over 2 months wait, than mississauga with 2 months (1 more than anyone else at the time), csq was speedy but numerous mistakes in my name and address and now Buffalo lost the 2 csq immigration Quebec sent them. They refuse to contact immigration Quebec or my MP office. 9 months since we sent the paperwork to cic-m.
i know i have been complaining a lot maybe i should not but let see i was hoping for a bit of rest after all that happened in the last 2 years
so congratulation Frenchie you were lucky to get transferred and i wish you a lot of happiness and i hope your husband will enjoy Quebec
Sauga congratulation lots of blessing for you and the baby (ies who knows lol)
