I recently emailed buffalo which i have not done for a while but they are looking for more background info wtf does this mean im american i was born here been in the USA for all 23 years of my life only thing i can think of is that i am pakistani but thats it! and they received my FBI a long time ago not on 9/20/10... geez {but on a good note i think background checks are the last step?} ??? ??? ???

some people never receive an AOR in mail some only get an email. i was in process July 29 and got an AOR August 4 (buffalo is 7 hours away from my house im in NJ) so hopefully you will get one soon

Great! So they do mail it out right after you see "In Process", that's what I was looking for. It's been... a week today now so hopefully this week I'll be able to see it!

OMG!!! E-cas says decision made!! I'm hoping that this is a good decision, anyone have experience with with this?
It says medicals received and that they will inform me by letter of their decision. They started processing on 9/1....that's only 20 days!

I'm scared, I'm nervous, I'm excited.....I just don't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, that's the final "stage" that will show up on e-cas. If you haven't been called in for an interview or anything, it is likely a PPR! Congrats!!


Now in terms of a disclaimer... "descision made" does not always show up on e-cas. Many people get a PPR without e-cas ever displaying that status. It is also possible that the desciscion is a rejection but in terms of family applications, it is very unlikely that you'd be rejected without an interview unless for some reason you were ineligble (eg not legally married and therefore can't apply under spousal..)

I was telling the July thread that I'm a completely straight forward application with nothing that would cause any concerns. We've been together for 10 yrs, married for almost 6 with a 4 yr old son. It just makes me so nervous that it happened so quickly.
