Interesting. I sent an email now for mine I sent back late in May - no idea if it'll do anything at all - I had all the information. But at least it's worht a try!
On our March thread its almost incredible the number of people who are completely DONE this whole process, but of course, none of them went through Buffalo. While I'm very happy for them, don't get me wrong, am I the only one that gets frustrated by this?

No i am frustrated too by this since you know you figure USA is our neighbor so what the heck it takes longer than far foreign countries. I still cannot figure why Buffalo is slower by a few months than let's say Brazil

Yeah, I'm frustrated as well. I checked ECAS and all it says is that my app started processing in Buffalo on May 18. I've tried to email them, but they haven't responed and it's been two weeks since the email was sent.
giggles mail buffalo office asking to confirm whether they have received ur application.. state all the known facts like ur husbands name,DOB, citizenship country, sponsor's Client id number or any other such thing that will help the visa office to identify your application..
I had done the same thing.. i had mailed them 3 weeks after the sponsorship was approved.. n they had replied that they have started proceesing that same day n sent me AOR through snail-mail..
Thanks, I will do so today. If I may ask - what method did you use to contact them? The general inquiry email address? (buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca)
There is also a "case specific" inquiry form online that I think may work but they state that they will not respond if the application is within normal processing times...
