CIC emailed us back this morning to tell us that they found my husband's FBI clearance and his application is with an immigration officer for final review. This sounds like good news! It just goes to show - it doesn't hurt to ask them to take another look.
I am trying to order our caips notes online.
When we received our AOR from Buffalo we got a file number starting with #F and the online company that would request the caips notes for us is asking me for a file number starting with #B
Does anybody knows what is the difference between #F and #B files ?

That's awesome to hear!! I'm glad they found it, that would have put a huge weight on your shoulders to have to wait longer! Hopefully you're just around the corner from the end! I'm crossing my fingers for you.
Thanks for the support! Who knows how long it will be now - I have learned not to expect any specific timeline from CIC - but at least we are in the final stage. The initial assessment took almost 8 months! Here's to hoping that the final assessment isn't nearly as long and we get PPR soon.
Seems as if Buffalo is working again 8) - when I checked today in the morning my e-cas said "Decision Made"! So I am really nervous now...
I didn't get any e-mail though. Both my AOR and IA came by snail mail, so I guess it would be safe to assume that this one would too? I am a bit worried that it could be something bad cause I am not getting it by e-mail like 90% of other people (it seems). But maybe I am just over-reacting....

I got my IA almost exactly one month ago (it was dated March 10th, and I got it by mail on March 16th).

Congrats everyone! It is so good to see some movement on Buffalo's part. It seems like they were so quiet for a while. I am holding on hope that we will be soon!!
