It's past 15 business days and buffalo has still not sent the passport back (the enclosed usps express return envelop tracking # is still not showing up on the usps website). We are really worried that they lost the passport! Has anyone experienced that?

This is why upon receiving the PPR letter from Buffalo, I'll be buying a flight or driving (10 hours) to have it stamped in person. I don't trust my passport floating around.
I hope you hear something soon The Fanatics. Can you email/call them to see what's up? I think you can phone too, that's what someone did to find out when they could come by in-person to have their passport stamped.
soo my MP called me back today. he said everything seems to be in order. one thing i didnt get is that my file wasnt assigned to an IO??? I was like what do you mean it wasnt assigned :-X :-X he said he told them to try to have it done before February when my medical expires they said they will try no guarantees (obviously)... still dont get what he meant by my file not being assigned
OMG Today I got my PPR!!! After going through my emails like crazy everyday, but this week I was kind of down and stopped checking as much, I checked 2 times today and nothing then I came back just now, I clicked the inbox a whole bunch of crap, then I clicked spam a whole bunch of crap too but an email addressed from Buffalo saying:
Dear Applicant:
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada . We are now in a position to request your passports for visa issuance.
Please submit your passport(s) and photos within the next 30 days. The issuance of your visa(s) is time sensitive so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) as requested.
Please note that our office will be closed on Friday, December 24th, Monday December 27th, 2010 and Monday January 3, 2011.
We require three (3) recent photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member.
We live around a 10 hour drive too. We read quite a few posts and thought mailing the PP to B'lo looks okay, plus we included the express return envelop hoping that it will help secure the process.
Does anyone know how the process will work for me if I am already in Canada and I mail my passport to Buffalo, do I still have to go to the border to check in or just a office here in Ottawa
FeeFee still to need to mail your passport to Buffalo so they can put the VISA in it. From there you can either flagpole at a border or if there is no close border you can book an apppointment at a local office.
Hello guys ..I have another concern regarding that Personal History form..
How did u filled up that form? like did u include ur personal history since the age of 18 or included last 10 years of history..
I am 22 so how should I have filled that form? I didnt provided info from my last 10 years instead I filled this form giving information since my age 18 was that alright?
Well my husband and I had the same issue when we were filling out the form, so when we called the Canadian customer service # they told us since we were 22 and 23 to just give all the info from 18 years of age and older and if I remember correctly each state you lived in so yes you filled it out right!
