I got my AOR letter in the mail, along with the stickers. No information on interview or anything. I added my file number to the eCas tracker, so they have both my receipt number and file number to check for updates.

Now back to waiting...

Aren't you the sponsor, juliet? The AOR will go to your husband - or is he with you in Vancouver? If he's using Vancouver as his mailing address, then it'll be sent there. It'll probably take longer than those mailed in to locations in the US.

Hey, I just noticed that they took away the negative karma ratings from people's profiles. Only the positive remains.

My husband is not with me tree. And yes I am the sponsor. He is in the USA. So I miss him alot! We are planning to have him stay here in Vancouver while we process our papers, but too scared to cross the border again since they stamped his passport before that he has to leave on a certain date ( lack of proof to go back in the USA). Anyways, he did not received any letters!

I just checked our progress for the first time in a month or so. We've been moved up to In Process since January 19th. Here's hoping the rest goes fast.

I realize that the time varies to get the PPR depending on application, but what happens after you get the PPR?

I checked e-cas and it doesn't say medicals received under application received anymore ? IS THIS NORMAL ?

Hey everyone, I'm really sorry I haven't done the updates in more than a week... I've just come back from a long overdue honeymoon (and I guess an impromptu babymoon!) and put aside my commitments while I was gone.

Please let me know if I have any details incorrect so I can update... there was a lot to read through the last few pages so hoping I captured all the right information.

I received the snail mail letter of the AOR last week, the day after it appeared on eCas as received. Our application is still not showing as 'in process' but I'm still hopeful that all will be done well before my 32 week baby deadline!

AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt – the first official document that says the application for permanent residence status has been received.
PPR – Passport request – Immigration requests passport when they are ready to issue the visa.
DM - Decision made (waiting on letter to confirm)

Not worrying - as long as I know my applications is in progress, I'm looking on the bright side thinking "Hey, maybe they didn't sent me any bar coded stickers for additional documention to submit because my applications is not missing anything and they haven't lost anything!
