Well no letter yet but I can get into the ecas now using my receipt number. So now I know that a decision has been made and they mailed a letter to me on November 30th. Just have to mug the postie now...

I can get into the ecas now using my receipt number
We received your application to sponsor ****************** on November 1, 2010.
We sent you a letter on December 1, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
i register with ecas tracker
when i woke up today i'd 2 latter from ecas tracker
for the past three days i was breathless and sleepless
i had doubt in my application whether it reached/processed
no latter yet but hope that decision 2 be good one and we can look forward 2 next phase
thank you guys iam over excited right now
i jst want 2 share this news with my hubby

Congrats JMA!!

My application was received on 11/16, so I'm hoping I'll have my approval on or around then. We then figure what, another month to receive AOR from Buffalo, and then from there, however long it takes Buffalo to process, and send a letter requesting our passports for PPR?

I signed up for the Matthew's eCas tracker thing. I hope it works, and emails me as soon as my eCas starts working. It's a pain having to log in manually.

Where does the receipt number come from? Have they already sent a letter before sponsorship approval?

The receipt number was from when we paid online. It was on the receipt that was emailed to me.

Lots happening now for the November thread...lets hope it keeps up. Will be your turn soon Pharoh. I only just signed up for the tracker and it sent me an email with my message so it seems to work.

Ok, i've just figured it out. The CIC website explained everything. Hopefully they'll start on my application soon.
Trying really hard to put it to the back of my mind, but it's hard!

Congrats on everyone contining to receive good news.
I received some myself!!!!
CIC called my representative to confirm that everything is there and that just after christmas we'll receive their decision. It's a very small step but a step none the less that I am glad to hear about.
