Congratulations!!! That is so exciting! You're sponsoring your wife through Manila, correct? As far as I know Manila requests the passport fairly early in processing. Any idea from the Manila timelines when you will get it back?

I am now off to the July applications :'( Wife was able to contact CIC today and found out our application gets no special treatment and goes back to the 42 day queue because of our mistakes. I could really cry right now. I am man of to say that and probably will here in a few minutes.

I just got a letter from the Lima Embassy confirming what I already saw on E-cas yesterday, which is that my husband's application has been receieved and is "in process" in Lima as of late June.
Now comes the worst part!!! I expect we won't hear anything for a long time now....ugh this is so brutal! We are hoping very much that it goes quickly -and faster than the website timelines. The application was received in Lima on my hubby's birthday, so we're hoping that's a good sign!!!
