Hi all...sent in application and every blessed thing on August 17th they received it. Said they were sending a letter regarding sponsorship on the 15th of Sept. STILL haven't seen that letter. Had to call in and they made me wait till October 6th to call AGAIN and then he would send a note for them to RESEND the letter. ARGHH. my husband's papers are being processed in Kingston since he's in the Bahamas. we have a 7yr old and a 4yr old who are both missing their dad...hope this will not take a really long time. good luck everyone.

hello nyssa, ok lng po un... at salamat sau... My husband resent our application to Mississuaga last August 8, 2010. and inform lng po na ang processing office ko ay Manila.

here is my timeline for further infos;

June-24-10 = CPC-M received our Application

July and August 2010 = Our whole application package was returned to my sponsor by the embassy because he forgot to signed his name/signature and date in only 1 page of the application. And after that,(August) my sponsor(husband) sent back our application to CPC-M.

September-08-10 = CPC-M sent a letter about DM(Approved) of Sponsorship Application to my sponsor(husband)
= our application for permanent resident is transferred to Canadian Embassy Manila.

September-14-10 = Permanent Resident Application is In Process according to E-CAS
= E-CAS says started processing xxxxxxx

September-15-10 = Sponsor received a letter from CPC-M(Sponsorship Approved)

September-21-10 = Received AOR, PPR & additional documents(AOM, Personal History) from EM

September-24-10 = Sent PP & additional documents (AOM, PH) to EM

I've been so stressed out lately, and waiting isn't helping! Haha.

Anyway... we are still waiting on our AOR. From what I gathered, it should have been here by now. I am so paranoid about that damn thing getting lost or something. I WISH they would send us both a copy! Or send it to me! I really hate not knowing what to wait for.

What am I waiting for next, now that I am in process? I think I gave them my e-mail address when I paid the fees... does that mean I would get PPR in my own e-mail? Is there even a number to contact Buffalo is I want to figure out is anything has been requested (incase I don't get the AOR soon)? Suddenly I realize at this point I have no idea what is happening. I like being notified. :'(

I'm in the same situation. My permanent residency application has been 'in process' at the London office for a month now and I haven't received any kind of AOR by post or email. I was wondering whether some visa offices don't bother sending these out?? I also like being notified....'in process' doesn't exactly satisfy my need for information.

I done an address change and so I'm not sure if I missed my AOR. If it was returned though I'm sure they see my address change. I hope that doesn't delay the process. Anyway...my wife and I today were checking out how long it was taking some of the other Quebec/Canada applications...it's very very random! We're hoping for the best but trying to prepare for the worst...I have a question for everyone though. Is there any certain reason that some people choose to send their Meds or FBI papers in after their application as opposed to with their application? Just curious and wondering if that delays the process...

Hi everybody, my husband got his AOR today from Pretoria dated October 5. As well, surprisingly, he got a 2nd letter at the same time requesting 1 extra document. The second letter is notifying him to go and see the same doctor he saw for his medicals and hand him a sealed letter that the doctor will open, read and give him further instructions. I am so curious as to what that could be, as well they said he has 30 days to do that. So, my husband did not sign that green form that you sign in front of the dmp confirming that hes the one who conducted the medicals, so there was a missing signature on that form could that be what it is...? Someone help...
Oh and the AOR, did not say the interview was waived it just said they will notify him ahead of time if an interview is needed. So dont know if thats a generic statement that everybody gets or what...

Perfect - congrats on the AOR! That is really strange about the sealed envelope. The suspense would drive me crazy, too! I'm sure the missing signature has something if not everything to do with it. I would not worry too much, at least you have news!
