Waiting for the file to be transferred to Sydney, Australia.
Submitted my passport to Sydney Visa Application center on 4th April. Sydney Visa office received the passport along with the photos on 5th April. However, they emailed me to resubmit the photos on 8th April as they were not as per specification according to them. On 10th April, I resubmitted the photos. Anybody here had the same issue with the photos? Also, how long do they take in such circumstances, to return the stamped passport with COPR. Haven't heard from them since.

Hi thanks for your reply. How do I contact them. I have tried calling the consulate General of Canada (Sydney) but its an automated reply no actual person to talk to. Do you know any number that I can contact on besides the one on their website?
I have applied under express entry(Permanent Residency) - Federal Skilled Worker

Hi
I applied under family class and had to undertake criminal rehabilitation which added about 2 months to my application. all up it took them 13 months to process and approve my application. I have seen someone else from Sydney that took 8 months for family class.

I had to resubmit photos as well. once Sydney receives the photos it takes them about 15 days to send them back. add an extra day or two to be sent from the VFS and you should get your COPR at your home address.
your passport won't be stamped you get a document which is your COPR. when you arrive in Canada you just get a stamp I'm your passport with PR written on it which is was a nice fancy printout in passport though.

Hi Sarah! We’re in a similar boat - we applied a little less than a month after you. Our file was transferred to Sydney VO on April 17th and we had one additional document requested which we submitted. We haven’t heard anything since. Have you been transferred, if so have you have any updates? Thanks!
