I'm currently on holiday in Canada so when I get back to Australia I'll upload my Australian Police Certificate along with the authorized NZ Police History request.

I've also received my request for a medical. As I am in Canada until send of September, I'm thinking of completing this in Winnipeg whilst I'm here. Does anyone know the costs of a medical exam? Alternatively I can do this when I get back to Australia.

Hey kiwias, Ive done the medical both in Canada (previous visa) and Australia, and Canada was hundreds of dollars cheaper and way more accessible (bupa are a joke)

Each case is different as there are others from January who've already got PPR and are in Canada. For ours it's:

• App received 18 Jan
• Started processing Sydney April 10
• Still waiting for PPR

wow that's such a long wait! -_- is yours a family sponsorship application as well?

can you please comment on timelines for 2017 applicants at the moment plz.
i applied 6/9/17 and just want to get a idea of waiting times.

also.. my canadian partner (who is living with me in australia) and i applied for outside of canada sponsorship.
he just applied for a job in BC and wants to get us started in canada before i make the big move. can he leave to canada to start working after we applied for outside of canada ? or will this affect us? i will be still in aus working

Have you tried contacting the office? We tried sending an email to the immigration email ID. All we got in response is that it is currently in process. is there any other way to contact them particularly through a phone? I would like to talk to a person rather than communicate with them through email

when getting police check from aus... did u apply for AFP check or NSW national police check?
