Within our PR email the Sydney office also asked us to confirm we have moved to England as they "may authorise London to issue the permanent residence document on our behalf".
wondering if anyone else has had/read about a situation like this? Hoping this won't mean extra waiting time!
 
not sure Cwish however I wouldn't think it would cause any delays seeing as your basically approved so its just the issuance of your CORP that needs to be done.

I have a feeling they don't like to send CORP's out of the PR's person country of residence if it can be helped. I noticed on our PPR e-mail that if you live in Canada you send your stuff to Ottawa if your in Australia then it is sent to Sydney.
 
Hubby received his request letter for his documents to issue the resident visa. YAY!!! We mailed away all the requested info today so now we wait, again ;)

For anyone wondering it looks like you have until 1 year from the date of your medical to enter Canada with the perm residence visa.

COPR arrived today yay :)
 
Congrats canadianfairy! Fingers crossed ours comes this week too! Although we are in England so will understandably take a bit longer

Odd, i received AOR on June 1st but mine is still showing application received.
Maybe our application was so awesome they are showing it to everyone in Sydney ..... ???
 
hang in there I never seen my status say in process it just went to DM but showed it started processing it on 25 sept. I think our VO officer just never bothered to update till they were finished the whole thing.

Hope you get some good news soon Grum!
