I have a feeling that because its the end of the year a lot of people are anxious and want to be with their loved ones for the new year and probably a lot of them have sent in these case specific inquires . I am sure this is the reason why there is delay in getting a reply back. I was just reading some posts of the applications from 2009 and looks like its the same story last yr as well end of the yr things seem to have slowed down but picked up pretty fast in jan-feb . I have already prepared myself for next year as the likelihood of me going now and returning before the end of the year is getting slim. So I am feeling less anxious now.

sure, here is what we wrote. We gave all our statistics.

Like our sponsorship got approved on Sep 27th, and its been 2months since then, and havent got any response from ND yet. As per the website, initial review must ve been over by 1month, but our timeline is well beyond that and this has made us worrying. etc

Hi yeah no news from my end either , but its just been like that as we have seen in the near past , one week we hear lots and second week its kinda silent , next tuesday now can't do much else . Good luck to all for next week and do not worry none of you are forgotten.

Yup, just need to wait for next tuesday am sure, vl have some updates only in Jan, as its year end, they mostly l be clearing out all backlogs, instead of opening new ones

kal u are absolutely right. i realized that earlier this month - no point getting anxious. it's highly unlikely that it'll come through this year. so here's to all of us reuniting with our respective spouses early 2011!!!
and those that are in canada already - enjoy the xmas season! everyone's in holiday mode here..its great i know its not the same without ur loved ones around, but still..it can be enjoyable.
