I think FBI clearance certificate should do the work, and they do not need anything else. Wish you luck next Tuesday or who knows, you might receive a PP before there is an update (has happened in a few cases). So, keep your fingers crossed.

Just out of interest did you not submit your marriage pics along with your application or is it that they wanted mores pics ???

Yes they asked for more photos of marriage.
But send all .. engagement, marriage, reception honeymoon.. and also whtever photos I was having after marriage i send them.

I called my wife .. it was 1:00 AM there.... I was not able to tell her.. but she guessed out...
This feeling is so strong that I have forget all the wait..
Now I'll resign from my job and hope to meet my better half in Jan.

Is it necessary to withdraw Old application if i want to put new file under Fast Track application ? Or both file run parallel ?

no updates sanyrog for me 2........i think ND has changed their way of handling files may be n ow they will ask for passport at later stage or may they will increase the processing period which would not be bearable..............

I second that, I am pretty sure that ND CHC has changed the way they process application (ofcourse my speculation), and they will request your PP at the end when its ready for Visa issuance. Would'nt that be great!! A PPR certainly means visa issuance and thats it! Until then you have your passport with you and can travel and meet the spouse in some other country.

Don't worry, this unusual delay for ALL means some change in the pattern. If it were only one of you, i would be worried, but its ALL of you in this forum. Its a definite policy change I think.

I understand. But I would be happy if the status atleast changes to In process. Atleast il know that my file is opened, and they r gonna ask for my ppt in the verge of issuing visa. But my status still shows PR not available, which is very frustrating!!!

If the status atleast changes to In process, it means that the file is opened. They should update that atleast to let us know that our file is opened atleast, and is being worked. But what they r doing nw is annoying!! Not even changing to In process, after 2months of our sponsorship approval!!!

Just out of curiosity, Did you guys send any email to CIC ND while you were waiting... Just trying to find out if sending email while waiting is good/bad/ugly?

Thank you, I am really surprised why they have not issued you a file number. They MUST issue a file number (after they see all the documents, fee are correct) before they actually go further with processing. Please email them ASAP and demand an explanation.

For a few who are waiting to get back their PP, hold on, you are almost there, know its frustrating, waiting is all we can do right now. For others, who are waiting to get your file number after the file transfer to ND from Miss, Canada, if the time taken is more than 4 weeks, bombard them with emails, you MUST get a file number FIRST (meaning, your documents are all correct, fee is paid and they have opened a file for you). For seniors who have already packing to leave for Canada or already in Canada, any advise as to what you "MUST bring items" from India to Canada?
