Bar codes need to go on the letter, and docs they requested, and put one on ur passport!

are they asking you for expired PP??? did they ask for any add docs???

Yes, I got it today

But i have other problems.. dont have my old passport
i have not travelled any where outside india..

What do u mean old passport, u mean expired PP??? i know letter asks for that!

Yes I expired Passport, as the letter states that submit any old passport as well, but i dont have that..
what should i do.. even though tat passport was expired and i never travelled anywhere so all the leaves were balnk..
please suggest what should i do

Oh man, im not sure...maybe get a letter from PP authority stating ur old passport number and its expired, and then explaining that its destroyed...if u cant get a letter from PP people, maybe write to CHC explaining why u cant submit....HEY - DONT U HAVE ANY OLD copies of ur PP??? that would work!!

Congrats on PPR! don't delay sending current PP. y dont u write up a cover letter explaining your situation. Tell them it was destroyed and it was blank i.e. no stamps on any page. Send it out! I dont think it should be a problem. But to be on the safer side, meanwhile, u can run to the passport office n c if they can help. I highly doubt that! We all know how we are treated there, don't we =) Maybe they have a record of copies of your previous passport pages. I mean at the time your current passport was issued. But will they really look into it? It s million dollar question!! All the best buddy! keep us posted.

dont worry, it usually takes about 30 days or so for them to start working. You will know something with in another week or two. Its normal.

Hey! my file was transferred on June 18! Did u receive a passport request letter so far? If not, you should receive that by next week but consider postal delays too! Good Luck! I received Passport request on July 21st! the letter was dated july 8th so it took 2 weeks for Indian Post to deliver to my place which is 20 kms. away from CHC - Delhi =) Maybe the delay was cz my place lies in a different state, i.e Gurgaon , Haryana. Good Luck!

CONGRATS! on your PPR....so it took how long did it take for it reach you from ND to punjab? wat was the date on the letter?

It seems i am the only person here who didnt receive PPR yet....I wish I too were in Northern part of India so that I could get all correspondance fast...Now I dont know when I am gonna get it :'( :'( :'(
