Hello Bobshynoswife and other Accra Applicants,
I am a Nigerian, a PR living in Edmonton.
I applied to sponsor my husband.
Application received - January 20, 2010.
Processing Starts - February 16, 2010.
Sponsorship Approval - April 7
Started processing my husband's application on May 7, 2010.
Husband's interview is July 27, 2010.
Letter informing me of the possibility of conducting an interview foe me - August 28
I am yet to hear from them.
Pls what do i do?

I went home last year Dec and I am currently pregnant.
I really need my husband here.
What do i do...i need your opinion(s)

Did you try to contact Accra? If you have not, you should do so asap. Send an email with your file number, etc enquiring about your application and give them your timeline. Goodluck.

You should be fine. Just make sure you have good proofs, but for the most part, it's a done deal!

Thanks IFY for your tip as per call records on Raza. I know you do not have to be working before you sponsor but i was thinking been in active work might help ones application. Am glad your application is been fastly processed and it is surely coming out as planned by Gos grace. I pray mine comes out within 3 months as well.

@ Fern. this 1 is less than 3 months oh,record breaking. They recieved our app. on Jan 26, interview is on april 4.

Is Ify in Canada here? How long did you guys date for before getting married? This forum is really helpful and you case is really record breaking and its making us all confident in Accra!

Yes, Ify lives in Canada, been here for 6 years. Married in Oct 2009.

I was very proud and happy to have our application completed in Accra in 98 days, but am even more happy to see that Accra is now processing even faster than that!

Ify - I believe your husband will have his visa on Monday...fastest approval ever, I would think! Lets's hope it's even faster for concrete so her husband can be together with her and their baby!

@ify, I think am calm now. I and my hubby are nigerians as well and we have known since 2005 but got married last year.
@ richie thanks for the advise, i have got call records, chat, few emails and western union. Got SMS but dont know how I can print all that out. I pray and know all will go well come monday.

Palomadiego, if you have a blackberry, why not copy the text and sent it to youself as an email for you to easily print it out.

@ concrete, You sure did submit way more docs than i did. I am sure you will do fine and u will here from them sooner than you think. Just never cease to pray and have faith that God does not work half way, He is a finisher of whatever He starts to do.

I just got the contact details of the nearest MP to me, is it fine to call/use any MP or is there a particular MP i'm suppose to use?
