@Jayotuks Can we designate a form of lead person on this so that by monday we should be ready to send a very strong and professional worded letter to the minister, and perhaps to various MP that represents our sponsors. I strongly believe they are only being nonchalant simply because we are african applicants. Please don't misconstrued my word, i do not for a second call them racist.

Why not a petition on change.Org?

One person won't do it we need as many as 5-10 people, if you go back in time on this forum, you will notice there was a time the minister paid a visit to Accra VO regarding their non-challant attitude and for the period PPR was flying in from left, right and center. One person won't get the attention we need. they need to know we all very tired of Accra

On a serious note guys, you will be SHOCKED when you see how fast all this other VO are from file transfer to PUM. Believe me, i researched it Wednesday & thursday, my jaw has not closed back since. Why should a portion of the FAMILY CLASS PROGRAM have preferential treatment better than others on the same exact program simply for the fact of the country they come from. NOT ACCEPTABLE

Personally, I feel one should compose a detailed mail. Let’s all send same mails to the minister. But with our application no as the subject. Please who will lead this I am bad with mails, would have composed one but I am ready to send to the minister. Let’s do this throughout next week Everyday. We are not saying they treat our files within 6 months. But getting PPR within 8 months is still fair but Accra is exceeding 1 year. It’s not just fair at all.

Daily mails from different applicants makes a lot of sense, i strongly disagree with your notion that 6months is too much to ask for tho. Why cant we ask for 6months? remember we all paid 1000$ each for this application, if they are short staffed then they should address it. or perhaps not give AVO over 6 countries to deal with when for example nigeria has the biggest canadian embassy in west africa, nothing stopping them from sharing the workload.

I think the email needs to connect back with Canada's values of fairness and equity .I can have a go over the weekend

I agree @roaming spirit should help us draft the letter, as for me I am ever ready to start sending the mail ASAP! Hope we are all in agreement?
