Guys, I also applied in August 2016. Aug 24th to be precise. I am PNP paper based applicant (not FSW).
tisrod you an EE or paper based applicants?
I am asking because you said you did upfront medical in Aug 2016 - the same month you applied.
Which means you have to have the visa and land in Canada before August this year otherwise the medical will expire.

Paper based is mine. But I already live in Canada with my wife. It's just that we chose outland to be fast when inland at that time was around 26months to complete everything. But then shortly after we applied they have changed everything again to 12 months both in and out. Imagine my cry face...

Hi guys, so my PA's account updated like everyone else with the request for medical that was never received.
so I called CIC Mississauga even tho file has been transferred to AVO.
Agent sent instruction to follow and PA booked appointment with the hospital yesterday explaining the situation and got d medical done today.
We are glad that is out of the way bcox we seem to be the only one that applied in march 2017 outland that didn't get medical request before file transfer.
Clinic said result will be forwarded to visa office in 3-4 days while we have uploaded thru web form the paper acknowledgement that was given at the clinic.
Now we wait for file to change to medical passed and hopefully passport request next when the time is right without hassle

Interesting. What detail did you give to the clinic? Just UCI number? I want to try to do mine tomorrow because I received this update as well. The last time I tried to do new medicals without this update the doctor said he couldn't find a way to upload it because it had not been requested on the system.

agent sent a letter to PA which was taken to the clinic. PA was asked some questions that was looked up in their system.
so you are better off calling and maybe you could be provided with a letter too.
agent put me on hold to verify, came back and said email will be sent to PA,

So just to confirm, you never received an email notification, you just called and then were given these instructions?

Hello Ugoswife. We are experiencing kind of the same thing. Additional Documents status just changed to "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details" but there is no message attached. I'm a bit confused. Can everyone check their cic login to see if there are changes for them too? Thanks.

Can people please check their cic and check if you all have medical request and documents request???? My lawyer and I can't get mycic to link up, so I can't see anything! I'm freaking out.

but i did check my msg but didn't see anything in there..i'm confused and don't know what to do and i did call cic today and their line was busy so i will try again tomorrow..i don't know if it's a system errors or what!!can anyone through light on this issue?haven't received any mail and i have check in junk mail but still haven't received anything.. is anyone experiencing the same thing?

Heey. Yeah they requested for additional documents but still no message. I guess we should just wait it out and see. I believe they wanted to update a couple of people and they updated everyone in error.

I think so too. I'm going to try and give cic a call tomorrow and see what they say. I'm so anxious....
