Does anybody think we will hear good news by March for some of us that they received there application since September?

THE WAIT IS A KILLER.



Missing hubby.

We submitted in April and I was really hoping I would receive mine by March but with the current trend, it's pointing towards June for October applicants but I'm still hopeful and praying that they will speed up the process in AVO. Before we submitted, hubby and I were under the impression that the whole process takes about 6 months. They haven't even acknowledged my medicals as passed yet. It still says not needed at this time.

Was thinking yours was submitted in October.

but i'm still thinking it will still be 6 month, it all depends on the person's application

but i'm praying and still pushing for speedy process for my husband's application

Lol. Sorry about that. That's what happens when CIC makes you overwork your brain. We submitted in October. Fingers crossed for six months!

Peg204, we have similar timelines. I hope things speed up for all of us. I can't see anything on mycic because we used a representative. Hopefully when you see changes on your status we will know ours have changed too.

i use to check for any statues change like everyday but

i haven't check my GCKey account for 3 days now and i'm trying to keep myself away from checking everyday because im becoming paranoid

last i checked, Nothing has changed for me. still says medical passed and eligibility in review

i do check my cic account and it still shows 3 line. medical received is the 3rd line

so hopeful by next week i will check my GCKey account and something would have changed

The increasing number of refusal is becoming alarming! Families and relationships are being strained so much. So sorry for your case. You should consider appealing if you think you gave enough evidence or reapply and ask for advice or guidance to make sure your application is presented in the best way possible. This is still the beginning of the year. Don't give up.

As soon as he receives the letter and sees all the details I guess he will know what route to take. We are all here to contribute to help you succeed.

Yes under the PA, it says Medical received already

my husband doesn't live in Nigeria but did his criminal record from Nigeria early this month and it was sent to Ghana and received but nothing has been put in for the background check yet.

Oh ok. Yeah nothing shows for background check until the last minute people say. If it goes into background check in process it means you're very close to ppr.

it been a couple months now since last year actually.
