hello house, I'm pleased to report that the hubby landed yesterday. They didn't ask him any questions except to congratulate him. The immigration line was busy though..took about 1.5 hours.

I'm going to fill out the online survey for sure as reading today's comments it seems the timeline hasn't improved for 2017 applicants.

How fast it took them 5 months to process wow... We are really the unlucky ones AVO slow pace of processing is really depressing

Hello i am February 2017 applicant. AVO sent me procedural fairness letter about genuinesss of my marriage back in December 2017 and we sent additional proof of relationship to them with more pics we took during my December vacation in Ghana. i have not heard from them since we submitted the documents via DHl on Jan 9 2018. Will it be a good idea for me to personally call their office.The application will hit the 1year mak very soon.

Nobody has heard from them. For your case they are to review within 30days from letter ...so they are within range of their timeframe however a gentle email reminder doesnt hurt ... not like they ever respond.
If only we can all go to Ghana and have a demonstration infront of their office. They should be held accountable for their lack of empathy towards family reunification.

Does the high commissioner know what is going on or no with respect to delays and no responses and also what are the reasons that the office is not obviously functioning properly? Thank you.

I'm in the same boat with you, but I sent them a mail to confirm if they have indeed received my package, and after a couple of days they responded that yes they have indeed received the package. So we're just waiting for their response. Will hit the one year pretty soon in a few weeks time.

We can not have demonstration then im Canada in Toronto infront of the ministers office? We have all gone mute and waiting and will keep waiting... that office doesnt function at all working multiple applications and not to mention there is about 16 countries within Africa that the same AVO works on their files too. So im not sure if they take turns country to country but atleast they can communicate something to the applicants. We keep having to guess what they are doing all the time its now starting to me upset.. #frustrated

i also sent them email but they never replied. how did u send ur documents. when i sent mine, Dhl had a name and signature from the office.
