i am february applicant too with AVO..AVo has only recently started to clear that backlogs of application, we hop that we'd hear something positive soon.. i did my medical upfront and its been marked as passed since i linked my account of MyCIC account. lets stay hopeful and positive and hope AVO can start acting like other visa offices that have started issuing PPRs

i got a mail from cic requsting for this info
Ø Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature

Ø Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures

Ø Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate

but i was asked on the 28th of june to send additional documents like.. proof of communication, evidence of sponsor's visit and divorce certificate if previously married. i sent all but for divorce certificate i sent severance of common law to prove my husband has ended his relatioship with his ex girlfriend.

About the medical , mine says medical has been received, those that also means passed ??

Welcome to the forum.

We have stopped comparing Accra VO with other regions cos it's just heart breaking. You need great patience in dealing with AVO to avoid break down. Accra is the slowest visa office and that is the bitter truth.

Exactly the truth. I don't know if it's that they have more applicants than other visa offices or they are just lazy to do the work.
Waiting for over a year now without hearing from them is too poor.
