Latest update.... Accra emailed us to summit passport but not just passport ,because its past one year, they requested a new schedule A, Additional family form ,medicals and police certificate . they want us to mail every thing along with passport.

And what's happened for @ooao should make all of us, particularly August September, apps get prepared with our schedule A forms, etc, so they are ready to go along with medical right away.

I totally agree with you, everyone should ge t the documents ready, even if they don't ask there is no harm.

Please did your medical request and background check update change in your app account?

no it didn't change. honestly the applicant account will not have any update until you land in Canada. when I went through my pr application in Canada ,it didn't change until I received my pr card and it just said application completed. So I'm not expecting anything different for my spouse.

I think it depends on which class you applied under. For spousal it's roughly 2-3 weeks.

I applied in Later part of February and they acknowledged receiving it on march 10th, got my medical request on Wednesday night and booked for next week

We also applied Feb and had medical done middle of July... hoping the rest goes quick

I believe our complaints, prayers and resolve is finally paying off.. The Minister of Immigration was yesterday in Accra, Ghana discussing #cdnimm processing times including areas of improvement & best practices with the Immigration team in the Accra office, i follow him on twitter https://twitter.com/AhmedDHussen and i basically stalk all his tweets with either likes or retweets and response...you all should follow him too..i usually use the medium to point to the slow pace with which Accra operates so you bet i was excited when i saw that he finally visited the Visa office to discuss processing times.... I am of the strong belief that things are about to change and everyone who has been waiting will start getting their PPR !! In Jesus Name!! am Excited!!

but i was asked on the 28th of june to send additional documents like.. proof of communication, evidence of sponsor's visit and divorce certificate if previously married. i sent all but for divorce certificate i sent severance of common law to prove my husband has ended his relatioship with his ex girlfriend.
