i saw application received in ECAS today. Medical was passed on March 9. Are you done with medical as well and then it changed to Application received ?

Previous Medicals were submitted while applying. So, medical is passed.
Then it changed to Application received.

Mine as well changed to Application received prior to medical it said IN PROCESS

Guys,
My application turned to Application Received from IN PROCESS in ECAS.
Medicals are already passed on March 21.
What does this mean?

I just read on another threat that when file is transferred and received by VO it changes from IN PROCESS to RECEIVED and when VO starts working on it it will change to IN PROCESS again until Decision Made.

Did you get a VO transfer letter ?
I did not.

sponsored relative and, if applicable, their accompanying family members become permanent residents

The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in
Kingston for further processing.

I have just recieved an email from MVO.

Here what it is,

Thank you for informing our office that OOO(My son's name) is residing in Canada and confirming your address. We have signalled to the office in Canada responsible for in-Canada landing to provide next steps. We appreciate your patience as you await further instructions directly from their office. Please note this might take a few weeks, so you do not have to worry about the 30-day deadline mentioned in our initial email.


I should wait for another few weeks... Frustrated..

i have no idea what is a difference in all this !!

yes..confusing...as everyone has different scenarios. Some are transferred to VO, some to OSC like you and for me to nowhere !

Mine is also Application Received since many weeks. Not sure what's going on...
Did not received any VO transfer letter.

Medicals request - March 2 2021
Pre-arrival service letter- April1 2021
Medical Submitted- April 5 2021

Is it common to get prearrival service letter before medical? My ecas showing Permanent residency in IN process. How long does it take from pre-arrival letter to PPR?

Hello, did anyone try to apply for a TRV for his child while sponsorship application is under process? I heard that it could be difficult for a spouse but not for a dependent child under 14. Anyone can advise?

I got TRV while sponsorship application was in process. Didn't face any issue, got TRV and moved to Canada then I changed the address of my child to Canada.
