I have been looking for this thread for long. I applied for my 1 year old son sponsorship in July 27, 2020. There has been no updates. Really discouraged as a father waiting. Is there anything I can do. Reached out to them through mail and web form. No AOR yet. Only update I got is UCI and application number after troubling them lot with web form.

After reading here I checked ECAS status. It just says recieved on July 27, 2020. Nothing more than that. Yes I was able to link application to my GCKEY account with help of webform request.

If you are inland, try to email/call your MP in your city. They can collect good information about the status of your application.

Status is "Decision Made" or "In Progress" on Sponsor side ?
It takes around 1 year for approval....so i think it will take time...

That must be frustrating. We are all in the same boat.
I applied for this for my twins in Januarly 2nd, 2020 but still waiting for PPR and DM.
There are some 2019 applicants who didn't get CoPR yet.

How frustrated I am!! Hope you hear from them soon!

I applied for this for my twins in Januarly 2nd, 2020 but still waiting for PPR and DM.
There are some 2019 applicants who didn't get CoPR yet.

How frustrated I am!! Hope you hear from them soon!

I understand, its the wait and being away from family that's bad. Also due to covid I can't get him visitor visa or anything. Are you guys aware of any other way I can get him here while waiting for his PR?

We received Biometrics request today for my 15 yo son.
Nothing changed in ECAS, in progress on both sides
Application received Sept 9 2020, AOR Jan 20, 2021.

I am just wondering what is process after you got the PPR. (I am assuming you applied as outland and your kid is currently in Canada.)
Do you need to submit the passports to Ottawa?
