My child is inland applicant but even then file is transferred to London Visa office and taking more than normal time. Don't know for few it just takes 2 months and for some it takes a year. I can see for naresh it just took 2 months while we have been waiting since long. Don't know what is the criteria to process for so fast. I know another from Turkey who also got PR in just 2 months

can anyone tell me how long before you get medical request? Since December I have also tried to link my application but no luck

Find the thread here that says How to Link your Application to GC Key. Follow it step by step and you will successfully link your app. That’s what I did.
Yes. So I logged into the online services and checked - status says in progress, when clicked on I see the following:

We sent you medical instructions on February 3, 2020. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Given that it says- Please consider delays, safe to assume it will come as a postal mail? To note: We are applying from within Canada. Thank you.
