Meant to ask the date when you got your meds done. Mine were done May 20th (spouse was earlier in a different city) and they were listed as passed on/around June 16th.
I had the check performed on May 5 and I don't remember when the status was updated as there are no dates for that either in MyCIC or ECAS, but I do remember that it was a matter of days. Under a week or so

Yes Deccan it seems they are on early May meds as mine was done May 06. I don't think many people had their meds in May so yours should be next week fingers

Somehow this medical date logic is not working for me. My meds are done in April and going by this logic, I should have had my updates so far. But, didnt.

Actually the date you had your medicals done is more important than when you submitted because medicals are valid for only one year. As you have to arrive before the expiration it makes sense that they process your app based on medical exams date.
Yes, randomly checking MyCIC every half an hour or so lol. I also just received a ghost email (roughly 24 hrs after the "updated" status on MYCIC) with no apparent change in ECAS or MyCIC other than what I had already seen yesterday.

In fact, I got an email from CIC today notifying me of the update that I'd stumbled upon myself the previous day. On a completely different note, do you guys know whether/when CIC requests applicants' passports (I mean, the originals), how long they need them for and why?
