So in your app...you say 10 pages with pics embedded...10 pages of what exactly? Your story of your relationship? Just curious as I am about to start this whole process.....
yeh i did one page to prove continuing relationship with a few small pics around it in like a portrait type page (landscape) and it was basically 2 paragraphs of our relationship from beg. to now...
and then we (i) answered the relationship question in the resident ap.. a mini story that included the meeting, wedding, after, and now so it answered a few questions and included a few pics in there (like i think around 15)
nothing else.. no bills, letters, nothing ... other than the other docs they requested
i actually found this forum the week after i sent the ap -- and i was pretty confident when i sent it.. but then after reading everything on here i was super scared and probably would have included a ton of other things (that i guess they obv. didnt need)
we also have a straight forward case -- married for 5 years 2 kids living together for 6 years.. known each other for 8...
Congratulations! I was lucky enough to get a really good processing time with our application also.
If only it was as easy as it reads huh?? I totally know what you mean! Anyway I'm glad you guys all made it together in the end

We started processing XXXX's application on September 29, 2010.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on XXXX's application. The office will contact XXXX concerning this decision.
XXXX entered Canada at Vancouver International Airport on December 9, 2010 and became a Permanent Resident.
Ours was a Common Law Application, no kids, lived together both in Canada and the UK for a total of 18 -consecutive- months (25 months total, non-consecutive included) at the time of the application. Been together 29 months altogether at the time of the application.

I was learned later that e-cas can be updated on decision made even before visa stamped on Passport if there is no complication in the case. Mine was as straight as a stick may be even more than that ..thats why I guess they did updated mine e-cas before visa issuance..
I am going to book my ticket on March between 15-20 coz the lady told me it might take 8 weeks max to get back passport thats why I am taking 2 months on my hand ...FAIR ENOUGH I GUESS
