Hello Guys! Does anyone have experience with giving biometrics in a different country? I am an Indian citizen and thinking of giving my biometrics in Sri Lanka. I tried to book an appointment via VFS website but I never received a verification link to verify my email. So, if anyone has given their biometrics in a different country, how did you book an appointment and how was your experience?

Are you aware of the fact that you might quarantine yourself for 14 days in Sri Lanka. Bangladesh cricket team had to postpone the tour because they didn't wave 14 days quarantine rule. Don't think, they have eased it.

I am on the same boat will let you know if i come to know about it.
I also have some insider information about one particular VFS Centre in India undertaking biometrics despite being closed. It's top secret so I can't share it here.

If India opens its VFS next month then there is no point of going in to Sri Lanka. I will go to India. But don't know wether I have to quarantine myself or they are accepting tourist visa.

Can't explain you how much frustrated we are regarding that. Everything is normal in my country and Corona infection rate is not high as well. They kept it close for nothing.
We are getting mentally sick. If we even go to India, we have to quarantine for 14 days and getting an appointment in India will be really difficult as they have a massive number of students on queue. Things are not so smooth in South Asia like Europe..
Thinking of travelling to Dubai from India for biometrics. Please let me know incase anyone has gone through a similar situation before (that would really help).
I'm unsure as to where the student permit stamping would be done incase I give biometrics in Dubai. I hope it would be done here in India later on.
I’m in the same shoe. There are no VACs in The Bahamas so I’m Planning to Travel to the US to give biometrics and do my medical the first week in November. The only panel physician for The Bahamas is on another island which requires me to travel by plane/boat for about $200+. So it makes more sense to me & is more cost effective to go to the US and kill 2 birds with One stone.
