It’s been 5months since the background check changed to in progress. I requested the GCMS notes but still not received. Anything else could be done ? Im applying from Lebanon.

PR Application Submitted & AOR - 12th January 2023

Application moved from CEC to FSW - 30th May 2023

Medical Exam & Criminality Passed - 20th June 2023

Eligibility & Security/Background - Being Reviewed - 20th June 2023

When possibly Eligibility & Security Review be Completed and PR is Approved? Also, can i see my applications status online as my GC Key is with my consultant as he has filed the applications? Can I see my status without disturbing my consultant?

What do you see when you check your PR tracker? Is eligibility and background check in progress there as well? If you've only looked at GCKey or your consultant has only looked at GCKey, I'd sign up for using your UCI here: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en and cross check if you are all pass. You don't need your rep's help here at all.

If you see all completed, call IRCC and confirm if they've sent an approval email to you. If they haven't, file GCMS or CBSA notes to get a better idea of where you are stuck. If they had sent (and you've not received it) - tell them to resend the portal email.

I got a Portal email with attached document. However, document is addressed to my wife's name. Will I get my portal email separately or this is the only email. I am primary applicant. I don't understand it.

You won't get a portal 2.

Next steps are listed on this email. You'll have to follow instructions over this email and submit your passport(s) to VFS. Use the same PPR letter for all applicants.

You can either drop your passport in person to VFS or use the VFS passport pickup and drop service.

Look at the list of documents request by IRCC in this PPR letter and make sure to submit all those docs.

Hi! Anyone got any idea, how long can it take from AOR to PPR with no ADR and no comprehensive screening? My AOR is 25-Sep-2023, everything apart from security has been completed since 3-Nov-2023, but no PPR till now. Ordered GCMS notes, and no indication of comprehensive screening as well.

security check processing time might be around 1 month, 4months,12months,15-18months,or forever.
For me, everything except for security check was finished in around August 2022, and still pending today

and 11 months of silence!!!!!!
processing office is Warsaw, Poland
I requested GCMS notes and nothing was written there, no requests.
I tried to call to IRCC and requested an IRCC web form, than I have got an email with 4 words: your application is under review.
Could you suggest what steps could I also initiate to start them working and processing my file?

I have submitted my schedule A and PCC on 19th Sept 2024. So far the status still shows (Additional Document Required)- Not Applicable.
Further, I also London Visa Office and their response that its awaiting officer review and documents were received on 19th.
Anyone has idea how long will it take to get an update
