April 2020- GU2 (Decision made- got to know from response to webform) Ordered gcms note and saw application approved - counterfoil printed.
Added Spouse - May 2020 (No addition to profile, no Biometrics, no response to webform or mail)

December 2020 - Got to know from gcms notes that file had been moved to Hong Kong and mailed them. Within 24hours, back to back GUs. Spouse was added, Biometrics were requested and request letter for spouse was sent. I was so sure this was it. Responded in 2days and complete Silence afterwards. This was the period HK was sharing PPR. We didn't hear from them again after this.

April 25th, 2022- Another ghost update. Background check changed back to "we are processing"(I got confused here) Review of additional documents changed to "Not applicable " from "the documents you provided have been uploaded "

April 27th, 2022- Adr for Schedule A and Pcc for Principal Applicant and Spouse. Uploaded same day.
April 28th, 2022- Documents have been uploaded
April 29th, 2022- Ghost Update@11:50am- No changes at all
May 6th, 2022- Mp responded that file has been approved since April 29th, 2022. Just like I thought.
Started sending mails, no response
May 20th, 2022- Called IRCC. Said they were not authorised to disclose information from a VO outside Canada. Left it and decided not to send mail again as my tired was already tired. Yimu.
May 25th, 2022- Boned and sent one last mail to both Minister and Accra.
May 26th, 2022 - PPR!!!! Mail came in by 11:30am. Been trying to get myself since. Mail came in as ADR and I wanted to swear for them until I read it properly
After 4 previous Canada study visa refusals, this feeling is just surreal and I pray everyone gets to experience it soon.
Thanks to everyone who has been a part of my journey. The laughter, the tears , the hope, the faith, the roller coaster of emotions, the God when, I am soooo relieved its finally over.

Deafening silence even with multiple emails to Accra, Fraser etc. MP tried but no progress and only eligibility passed (passed since December 2020)
Btw multiple emails were written between February 2021 and last week cos my husband actually lives in Canada and I was really frustrated - but no impact / progress was made.
May 18th, I wrote to Prime Minister explaining my circumstance and that none of his delegates responded to previous emails - also requested that I be moved away from Accra office since nothing was being done. Same day response from his office that they can’t do anything personally but that they have forwarded my email to Immigration Minister
