Usually the trends have been that CSIS finishes and submits it report to IRCC. The files are sent to CBSA and CSIS at the same time. CSIS and CBSA are independent bodies which work independently.
Hi! I am a PNP Outland applicant with AOR in November. On Dec 6th I passed the medicals and the BGS was moved from NA1 to IP1. At the same time the review of additional documents was changed to "We do not need additional documents." and there is no change in BGS since then.
Does someone have any ideas why it takes so long for moving the BGS from IP1 to NA2? I haven't received any request for additional documents and regularly check my email. According to the tracker, most of the PNP applicants with AOR in November are already in NA2.

Hi @legalfalcon ... I need your advice. The security screening for our spouse sponsorship is under process since almost 2 years .. we are really depressed. Everything is passed; only security is pending... no issues are there .. we both have absolutely clean record and travels to Europe and western countries only. What are the chances to get approved soon? What are the chances of approval in this stage? We are really worried Thank u ..
BGC does not involve criminality, which is a separate process and solely based on the PCCs you submitted.
For education IRCC relies on ECA, for marriage, the documents an applicant submits.
The most important stage of the process is Eligibility, this is where IRCC checks if the applicant meets all the criteria for the program under which an application is filed.
Dear legalfalcon, thank you so much for your answer!
I am just still a bit unclear what kind of information Canada might request from foreign governments?

It can be anything related to your criminal, personal, employment, financial related work. Since it is not disclosed, it is difficult to find what information is sought.
