Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

Hello, I applied for my citizenship in March 2022, and until then, this is all I can see on my application status. I have done the test as well.
Is anyone experiencing this?

What further checks go into prohibitions that are not covered by background?
My prohibitions is the only thing pending at the moment

Hello forum members. My test is marked completed but background check has been in progress for almost 5 months as per ATIP notes (alongwith language, physical presence, prohibitions). If anyone -

1) has been experiencing the similar issue

2) has experienced similar issue in the past

3) know someone who has been experiencing the same situation or someone who has experienced the similar situation

Congratulations Rock On.. I guess you are a citizen of Canada now.. I am still waiting.. citizenship test passed on December 4th..

Thanks for your detailed feedback . As per law they have to process family applications altogether. They have to inform me if processing separate from family. 2nd my wife got email foe PCC from one country and ask her to send via email. We have similar timelines.so i am assuming they will ask mine PCC as well so i send then email in advance. Moreover IRCC said you get something in two week keep an eye in email everything is on order and in process. What doz this mean

Baground Check is in progress as of Aug 02,2023. but my LPP has been completed today. does it means that my baground check will be completed soon.

I’m in exactly the same boat. Same status too, with them having received my application March 2022 and test done October 2022. No update at all since! Apparently the processing time is meant to be 18 months now. So curious what I should do in September

So nothing completed anything from LPP.
mine just updated yesterday LPP completed while bag-round still on going

Baground Check is in progress as of Aug 02,2023. but my LPP has been completed today. does it means that my baground check will be completed soon.

Just got updated On LPP Aug 2nd 2023 . While bag-round and Prohibition are still in progress. Requested urgent application process not sure what happening. Called IRCC they said wait for the next steps everything looks fine. Bag round in progress since March 2023. Any idea how LPP turn’s completed while bag round i. Progress

I hope so . When i called them they said wait for the next steps not sure what does it means. Requested urgent processing based on foreign Job offer required Canadian Citizenship

Do we have to provide the job letter offer with the exact start time , can it be just the job we applying for
