Has anybody in this boat gotten any updates lately? i.e. test completed but Background Verification still pending.
Also, Does anyone know the parameters that would lead to an agent/IRCC recommending an application for comprehensive security clearance even when criminality is passed and no criminal records. I know most people say it's random, but i feel that's not enough reason to add months to an applicants timeline - "randomly"

For me it took roughly 8mo after test for the background to be completed. And that’s the average timeline I have seen in people in this forum whose applications goes into this path. I know it’s hard to wait but hang in there.

I agree with you , random is not enough reason, and it's really frustrating to wait too long just for random selection, by the way I'm at the same boat
