have you considered getting FP done and forwarding it to IRCC? What if someone just forgot to send FP request. Stranger things have happened at IRCC.

Anyone can get a criminal records check done at any time (it's the same fp check for job purposes, international migration etc) You can attach a cover letter When you forward it to Ircc, saying that you are supplying fp results in case it is required as your criminality has been pending for a long time.

I have been following your posts for the last couple of months. I think you definitely should do an FP on your own at a RCMP approved private agency and send it to Vancouver IRCC.

More specifically -

IRCC Vancouver 200 – 877 Expo Blvd. Vancouver, BC V6B 8P8

Make sure you include your UCI/Application No. I had to provide FP and the agency lady did not even ask for my letter just Application No.

December 2021 applicant. AOR February 2022. Test completed October 12th. Dec 16th and March 2nd GU. Just heard back from MP that my criminality is passed. However my security is still in progress. Wonder how long it will take? Any ideas? Rest are in progress except oath which is not started yet. Oh and it said that it's in process in Sydney NS. Weird as I thought my office is West (I got my test invitation from there and I am currently residing in the Vancouver region.)

Yup. Again in my case they only asked to see the UCI/Application number. These agencies do this all the time, they know exactly where to send it.

Looks like we have similar timeline, same Dec 2021 applicate, AOR feb 2022, my security check started at Aug 2022, hopefully we can see any updates in the next few weeks.

I have a similar timeline. People are saying security takes 8-9 months. My FP was done last June, hopefully, we hear something soon

I have the same timeline ,except test completed in September 13th. and nothing since then ,not even fingerprint request .Stuck on Criminal check , my MP refused to help something about it cause there is nothing she can do.

Nice! If our security would have at least started by the time we got the test invite (in my case it's September), then we should probably hear our background getting cleared by April in the worst case. Let's hope for the best though

I got the test invite on September though. Hopefully our background will clear soon. Background is the only that held us back from the rest of the December applicant group. Had it gone through before test or right after test year, we would have probably done with oath by now. It is what is
