I tried TEF Canada, but I know about TCF from TV 5 Mond you can find examples and test your skill there.
in Ontario Canada, there is only TEF Canada so that was my choice. From my research online, I found that the listening part is clearer in TEF, in my opinion. In TEF Writing is two tasks instead of three, but reading is pretty much the same.

For EE you must take TEF Canada or TCF Canada. Any other type of TEF or TCF will lead to the application being refused.

TCF and TEF are largely the same except that the format of the reading and listening questions is slightly different. I found the TCF slightly easier, as did my wife (who is French).
