I have an open work permit valid for 3 years. I would like to take a 10 week class to help with my job but my work permit says "Unless authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution and taking any academic, professional, or vocational training course."
I looked into getting a study permit to take the 10 week class but the CIC site says you do not need a permit if the term is less than 6 months. I really do not want to risk anything bad happening with my work permit so I want to make sure I am allowed to take this course before signing up for it. Has anyone done this before?
