Is there any risk in switching job/company right after applying CEC with work exp from the previous employer. I'm going to apply for CEC next month and planing to change my job right after that as I've already worked here for a year(eligible for CEC). One of my friends told me that I shouldnt risk it and should continue working here untill Ii get the PR, even though I am getting way better package and role at the new job. Should Ii be worried?
No your CEC application is based on your past experience. Although make sure you are in good relation with your previous employer just because CIC can call/ask for additional documents to your application.

You dont have to stick to the same job. Your application is only assessed based on the experience you submitted. I myself changed my job after submitting the PR application, then notified CPC-O about my job change. I do not have any issues.
I was working as a software developer(2174) from February 2014 to December 2014 and From January onward I am working as a DBA(2172) in the same company. While creating my EE profile what should I put in primary occupation? Can anyone please help me on it?
Anyone changed to a lower NOC job after applying through CEC?? There should be no problems right? I am looking for a new job but all the jobs that I'm interested in are NOC C. But they pay much higher and are easier jobs than the NOC B job I had before I applied for CEC.
