I have severe hyperhidrosis (sweaty palms). Today, the biometric center technician and I spent a really long time trying to wipe down my hands and get good prints. In the end we gave up and took my prints the best way we could.
My classes start in Jan and it's already October now, bad planning on my part I didn't realize I would spend so much time worrying about Biometrics until I did it.
How soon would they tell me if my prints were rejected and if I need to do it a second time. I don't think there's any point doing it a second time given the condition :'(
I got a letter today to repeat Biometrics. Fingers crossed, I won't be a sweaty mess this time. There's no guarantee wish there was another way for people like me. I understand there won't be a third chance - is that correct?
Hi, how did it go 2nd time around?
I had the same issue yesterday - a friend I was with got their confirmation email a few hours after the scan while I've not heard anything yet. Think it may be due to sweaty hands (seems unfair). Panicking in case it causes issues with application.
Eventually mine got accepted, although I didn't receive confirmation of this until just over 2 weeks after giving biometrics. (Annoying as my friends came through a few hours after). They made a note on my biometrics at the time as my hands were so sweaty, so maybe just took longer to process.

I am glad to hear this. The officer also made a note in my file. I hope mine gets accepted this time, this is my 2nd attempt. The first one was of poor quality and I was asked to resubmit my biometrics.
Experts.... . I submitted by PR spouse application on May mid and from previous TRV Biometric was completed and in PA tracker it shows as completed. Thus I didnt pay for Bio fee part of PR application. now on July 20th i got the request to pay fee and i did on the same day. havent heard anything after that on... do we have any similar scenario? or any timelines similar to this. Appreciate if you have insights on this
