Hii All, I have received SW1 type while my course doesn't have internship or co-op. Will it create a problem?
That's interesting. To receive SW1 means you applied for a co op work permit as well -- and that co op is required to complete your study.
what to do in this case? I applied from India and didn't attach any extra doc and my course doesn't have internship or co-op in it! Will it create immigration problem? or S1 or SW1 doesn't matter much?

Shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks ! Even they will issue study permit at PORT so if anything from there end they can rectify hopefully!
I got one too but the plot twist is that - initially I had it written on my LoA that I need a co-op to graduate. So I got an SW-1, but later , 2-3 months after Fall 2020 started, my professor admitted that this course does not have a work component, rather it would be a capstone project in the end. So, my 1 yr visa will expire soon, I have been studying online and plan to travel to Canada got fkd due to fkn covid. So, now I will be reapplying for a study visa and I wont justify that co-op mess in my SOP, the Visa officer should understand by looking at my letter of completion from the college and the transcript that the coop component wasn't mandatory.
But is it a problem in my case ? or it doesn't matter? Becoz in my LOA its clearly NO in internship section and I didn't upload any extra doc
