Supporting docs for sponsoring dependant child -- urgent

Dear Experts,

I am preparing documents for my 1.5 years old child to apply sponsorship. Please, suggest if following documents are required for dependant child of this age?

1) Schedule-1 - Background / Declration for the sponsored person
2) Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

For signature of the sponsored person (dependant child, age = 1.5 years), any of the parents can sign?

Does original passport need to be dispatched with the sponsorship/immig documents or i need to leave that back with kid back home (outside Canada).

I am in same situation as you. I have submitted an outland sponsorship application for my 16 month old daughter. The sponsorhip is approved and is with Buffalo. Its in last stage of passport request now.

I gave neither of the documents Schedule 1 and Additional Family Information. There was one form from the Principal Applicant, i.e. Application for Permanent Residence which was given. There is no signature on that form.

Do not give the original passport. It will be requested by visa office in due course.

Neither of those documents are required for a child under 18. Send in a copy of her birth certificate and passport ID page (if she has one).

It means that following documents would work?
Birth Certificate
Child registration
Passport photocopy
Medical Examination report (IMM1017)
IMM0008 (application for permenant residence in Canada)

Apart for this I will be submitting sponsorship forms:
1344A
1344B
Fee receipt
Document Check List

Anything else required to submit?
I am jobless, does it matters?
Any idea about time required to get this processed, VISA Office ISLAMABAD?

For the main applicant,
For the Medical Examination, your DMP would have given you Copy 2 of the Medical Report IMM 1017.
You will also need photos. Check how many as per guide for Islamabad.

For sponsor,
You will need to attach Sponsor Evaulation(IMM 5481) also.
You dont need 1344B(since it is not applicable for sponsoring child)
You will need Photocopy of both sides of PR card
I also attached a letter as to why I dont have an option C(I was in US for 5 yrs before moving to Canada)

Any idea about processing time in such a case?

Secondly, if i get a job and my employer want to send me on a project outside Canada, does it effects my case?

Islamabad takes average 16 months to process 80% of sponsorship cases. However, I would think that Dependent Children should take less time. My case was in Buffalo, although site mentiones 11 months, it took about 2 months including sponsorship approval.

As far as I know, the sponsor(if PR) needs to be in Canada throughout the process. Others can correct me.

One more query:

Did I need to attach documents of my wife (mother's doc) like PR etc? Or rest of my kids (PR holders). I think NO. please confirm.

No. Its not needed.

In my case, my wife sponsored our kid. None of the documents were mine.

Regarding questions 6 and 7 in IMM 5481, my wife and kids (valid PR holders) do they need to be mentioned here? I couldn't understand this question. Please, help.

Assuming you are sponsoring only one child
You will put 1 in 5A(current undertaking) and 0 in 5B(Previous Undertaking)

In 6A you will put 1 for your spouse
In 6B you will put 1 for your child(with PR)
In Question 7, you will therefore have 1+1+1+1=4

On Page 2,
Not Applicable for 5.B.(i),5.B(ii),5.B(iii) and 5.B(iv)
Spouse details on 6.A
Child(with PR) details on 6.B

next question, there is an ambiguity on the fee. Do i need to pay 75$ (sponsor per application) + 75 $ (Principal applicant who is under the age of 22)?

Now the confusion is that fee- table in the sponsorship guide says what i have mentioned above. Whereas online fee payment site excludes dependent child for the principal applicant fee.

Please, suggest the exact amount that needs to be paid.

Total $150 for sponsorship and PR application.
